When I got my B.A. not too long ago, my commencement speaker was Craig Newmark. Harvard had J.K. Rowling. UCLA had Bill Clinton. We had the Craigslist guy.
Newmark spoke of the philosophers of ancient Greece, of the Patriots of the American colonies, and finally of bloggers. Bloggers, to him, were the successors to centuries of intellectual tradition as well as the inheritors of the next age.
Well, I didn’t buy any of that bullshit and I don’t now. My mission is not to save the world, nor to reshape it to my liking, except insofar as I can do so by ripping on bad webcomics and other media.
There is no schedule.

I’ve read what are considered lousy webcomics and I was wondering if you have a list of webcomics that don’t suck… sort of a baseline against which the sucky ones can be judged. You can’t have evil without good… or so they say.

I’m afraid you’re kind of barking up the wrong tree. Webcomic Overlook does the whole balanced review thing, and they usually do a pretty good job of picking out the good stuff.
